At the TEC Edition in Langenlois in March this year, together with 25 CIOs and tech experts, we adopted the Langenlois Agenda for “Digital Sovereignty” and committed to four specific areas of action. The deep dive workshops will focus on implementation.

Together with 25 CIOs and tech experts, we have developed practical tools in the 1st TEC Edition – an agenda for digital sovereignty, an innovative AI Use Case Execution Blueprint and our CIO Playbook. Implementation starts in our Expert Communities.
The role of the CIO in 2026 was one of the central topics of the 1st TEC Edition. The CIO is no longer just a technician, but a transformation architect: he connects business and IT, increases the speed of the organization and actively uses the AI wave instead of waiting. This was also emphasized by Christoph Nekolar, Group CIO of Erste Group, with his impulse for transformation in a modern tribe structure.
Futurist Marcel Aberle showed us what our human-digital future could look like and summed it up with the statement “Deal with the future – don’t be trapped in the here and now”. Florian Gschwandtner, known as co-founder of Runtastic, covered a wide range of topics from leadership and AI to the lessons that large companies can learn from start-ups – and provided numerous concrete ideas for practical implementation.
